Gitanjali 70
Is it beyond thee to be glad with the gladness of this rhythm? to betossed and lost and broken in the whirl of this fearful joy?
All things rush on, they stop not, they look not behind, no power canhold them back, they rush on.
Keeping steps with that restless, rapid music, seasons come dancing andpass away—colours, tunes, and perfumes pour in endless cascades in theabounding joy that scatters and gives up and dies every moment.

About this section
Gitanjali 70 is prose, printed in 3 paragraphs. It is part of the edition and is kept for reading, but nothing here is measured: the line breaks are the printer's, so no metre, rhyme scheme or scansion is stated.
The reader shows the same poem with its rhymes coloured and a stress row above each line, the notes beside their stanzas, and any word's definition on a tap; the analysis page takes the whole book apart. How every part of this site was made.
