Gitanjali 101
Ever in my life have I sought thee with my songs. It was they who ledme from door to door, and with them have I felt about me, searching andtouching my world.
It was my songs that taught me all the lessons I ever learnt; theyshowed me secret paths, they brought before my sight many a star on thehorizon of my heart.
They guided me all the day long to the mysteries of the country ofpleasure and pain, and, at last, to what palace gate have they broughtme in the evening at the end of my journey?

About this section
Gitanjali 101 is prose, printed in 3 paragraphs. It is part of the edition and is kept for reading, but nothing here is measured: the line breaks are the printer's, so no metre, rhyme scheme or scansion is stated.
The reader shows the same poem with its rhymes coloured and a stress row above each line, the notes beside their stanzas, and any word's definition on a tap; the analysis page takes the whole book apart. How every part of this site was made.
