The Gardener 74
In the world's audience hall, the simple blade of grass sits onthe same carpet with the sunbeam and the stars of midnight. Thus my songs share their seats in the heart of the world with themusic of the clouds and forests. But, you man of riches, your wealth has no part in the simplegrandeur of the sun's glad gold and the mellow gleam of the musingmoon. The blessing of all-embracing sky is not shed upon it.And when death appears, it pales and withers and crumbles into dust.

About this section
The Gardener 74 is prose, printed in 1 paragraph. It is part of the edition and is kept for reading, but nothing here is measured: the line breaks are the printer's, so no metre, rhyme scheme or scansion is stated.
The reader shows the same poem with its rhymes coloured and a stress row above each line, the notes beside their stanzas, and any word's definition on a tap; the analysis page takes the whole book apart. How every part of this site was made.
